Boy Nursery Palette

There is something really special about decorating your nursery. As we are deciding between colors and themes we are also imagining our new baby. What it will feel like to rock him in the new chair? Will he be comfortable in the new crib? Decorating a nursery from scratch is wonderful, but it can certainly feel overwhelming at times too. Remember that part of that overwhelmed feeling is the stress that goes along with being a new mom. Be kind to yourself. Make the best decisions you can about crib safety and non-toxic toys and decor, and the rest will be fine. So have fun with the decorating!

The wall color here is SW0055 Light French Gray from Sherwin-Williams. I like their EcoSelect Zero VOC Interior Latex Paint in Eg-Shel. It's safe for you and baby, has a hint of shine and is easier to clean than their flat finish.

The rug and bedding is all from The Land of Nod. Isn't it fantastic?! I designed the elephant wall decals, which are available on our, and the free art print. Art can pull a whole room together if it coordinates well with the rest of the space, so I made both available in a variety of colors.
