Fund on Etsy

Posted on June 16, 2015 by Caron Reeder

We are bursting with excitement! Etsy just launched a new crowdfunding venture called Fund on Etsy this morning and we are thrilled to be a part of their launch!

When I was pregnant with Sienna I started educating myself about the dangers in common household products in an effort to keep a safe home. When I showed my Mom an article about the dangers of PVC, we became passionate about making a kid-friendly, non-toxic option for wall decals. We cleared out two rooms in her house, bought some equipment, and started Eco Wall Decals. I have a pretty great Mom!

Lately we've been wanting to add high-quality chalkboard wall decals to our product line. Most chalkboard wall decals contain PVC and are not safe for children, but after searching for quite some time we found a PVC-free material that is very high-quality and even reusable/repositionable! It also costs more, and we'd need to purchase a lot of the material to make it cost effective for our customers. We feel very strongly that chalkboard wall decals should be PVC-free and non-toxic, but we need your help!

Check out our Etsy crowdfunding campaign and pre-order a chalkboard wall decal! Etsy will not charge backers' credit cards until a seller's funding goal is met. To thank  you for your support, we are offering these pre-orders at a lower price than they will later be in our shop. We are also offering free shipping in the USA!

Don't Be Like The Rest of Them Darling

Posted on May 08, 2015 by Caron Reeder

"Don't be like the rest of them darling" said Pulitzer Prize winner Eudora Welty, and I really must agree! My 4 year old is very quiet in some situations. To get ready for kindergarten we've signed her up for several activities and classes. In new situations she'll watch the other children for a few minutes, and then jump in and do what they do. Sometimes she'll stay this way through an entire session of classes. Other times she'll start having so much fun she forgets to fit in and she's the child we get to see at home, unapologetically herself. Her ballet twirls are twirlier, her careful heart painting turns into something splashy and beautiful, and her smile is huge. We can all appreciate the happiness and positivity that radiate from our children when they are feeling this way. Let's keep reinforcing them! Here is your Free Printable - simply click on the link and the PDF will pop up for you to print. Enjoy!
